Accessibility
A portal for everyone.
Datapoint is committed to making the datapoint.software portal accessible, in line with Decree-Law no. 83/2018 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
Last updated: October 2026
Scope
This statement applies to the whole https://datapoint.software portal, in its Portuguese and English versions.
Conformance status
The portal was designed and built to meet WCAG 2.2, level AA. It has been evaluated with automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse) and with manual keyboard and screen reader testing. A full sample-based evaluation, following the AMA methodology, will be published on this page.
The portal's accessibility tools
On every page you will find the accessibility button (bottom left, or Alt + A), which lets you:
- listen to the page or selected text read aloud;
- enlarge text up to 200%;
- switch on high contrast or dark mode;
- use a more legible or dyslexia-friendly font;
- increase line, letter and word spacing;
- highlight links, strengthen the focus indicator and enlarge the cursor;
- stop all animations and use a reading guide.
Preferences are stored only on your device. The portal also respects operating system preferences for reduced motion and dark mode.
Interactive content
The guided demonstrations can be controlled by keyboard (play, pause, step forward and restart) and announce each new step to screen readers. With reduced motion switched on, they do not start automatically.
Contact and complaints
If you come across an accessibility barrier, write to hello@datapoint.software with the page and the problem. We reply within 10 working days.
You can also use the Electronic Complaints Book.
